Experience Canada at Hungkuang University 在弘光體驗加拿大

弘光科技大學將於6月2日上午11點在L棟7-11前舉辦加拿大日活動，以慶祝加拿大學生們來到弘光校園。
此次加拿大日將如同過往國際事務處所舉辦的活動，帶給弘光的學生、職員以及參訪者體驗異國特色文化的機會。田其虎國際長談到加拿大日活動時說:「我們總是非常高興能為我們的學生創造體驗不同國家文化的機會，特別是許多學生都會因此多元的體驗而選擇出國留學。」
策劃此次活動的加拿大同學們也很高心能與弘光科技大學的學生們分享加拿大的美食、遊戲和手作藝術。加拿大日的活動策劃人Andrew Drager說:「我們邀請在校園裡的每個人都能來體驗加拿大的一些特色。」
此活動將有加拿大特色遊戲: Crokinole(加拿大彈指棋) 以及Yahtzee(快艇骰子)，學生們將有機會透過參與遊戲贏得7-11的100元禮券。當天也將會有加拿大藝術及手作活動。中午12點時，加拿大特色食物poutine (肉汁起司薯條)和Nanaimo bars(納奈莫條)，將以先到先得的方式供應。另外中午12:25和12:40將會有兩輪Kahoot遊戲，每輪前三名者將獲得500元、300元以及200元的7-11禮券。

TAICHUNG CITY, TW, May 29th, 2023: Hungkuang University will be holding a Canada Day event on June 2nd, 2023, at 11 a.m. outside the 7-Eleven in the L-building, to celebrate Canada and the Canadian students that are now at the university.
Much like previous events hosted by the Office of International Affairs, the Canada Day event will give students, staff, and visitors to the Hungkuang University campus a chance to experience features of a foreign country. “We are always excited to give our students the opportunity to learn about different countries here at Hungkuang University, especially because a lot of our students end up studying abroad,” said Tiger Tien Ph.D., Dean, about the Canada Day event.
The Canadian students planning the event are also excited to share food, games, and arts and crafts from their home country with students at Hungkuang University. “We are so excited to share Canada with all the students on campus! We invite everyone on campus to come experience a slice of Canada,” said Andrew Drager, coordinator of the Canada Day event.
There will be Canadian games of Crokinole and Yahtzee offering students the chance to win NTD$100 gift cards to 7-Eleven. There will also be Canadian arts and craft activities throughout the day. At 12 p.m., poutine and Nanaimo bars will be served on a first come, first served basis. And at 12:25 p.m. and 12:40 p.m., there will be two rounds of Kahoot! This will give students the chance to win NTD$500, $300, and $200 gift cards to 7-Eleven for the top three performers in each round.
